Project Description:
The Missoula Aerial Fire Depot dispatches smokejumper, aerial fire retardant tanker, and other firefighting assets regionally. This project executes tarmac and apron maintenance and repair on the depot’s airfield operations area adjacent and connected to the Missoula Montana Airport. Maintenance and repair include, but are not limited to, asphalt crack sealing, concrete edge and joint sealing, asphalt seal coat, metal stormwater drain restoration, pavement marking that meets current FAA and USFS standards for layout and composition, and limited partial and full-depth repair of asphalt at locations exhibiting distress. This project will be completed in two phases.
