Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project contemplated consists of improvements and modifications to the existing City of Idaho Falls Wastewater Treatment Facility. Work associated with this project includes construction of a new dewatering building (including two new screw presses, polymer room and electrical room); a new submersible pump centrate lift station; new digester pump mixing systems including two new pump rooms; a new ferric chloride storage and distribution facility with an adjacent bathroom; addition of a fourth pump to the existing utility water facility; expansion and modification of the plant electrical power supply, instrumentation and control systems; and other appurtenances, miscellaneous demolition, earthwork, yard piping, and site work to accommodate the facility upgrades.
