Specifications include, but are not limited to: Maintenance, Inspection and Repair of Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning Systems and Related Items for the Harris County Flood Control District; Vendor(s) shall furnish and deliver, as required, and as needed, all necessary labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and disposal services to provide maintenance, inspection, and repairs of HCFCD HVAC systems. HCFCD facilities consist of multiple buildings in four (4) locations that require HVAC services. HVAC services shall include maintenance, repairs, installation, demolition, reconstruction, and disposal. Services shall be in compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Harris County is seeking a well-qualified firm(s) to provide a comprehensive HVAC maintenance and repair program for all HCFCD buildings. Services shall include the provision of a complete maintenance and management program including, but not limited to the inspection, preventative maintenance, repair, programming and other tasks and services necessary to ensure safe, well maintained HVAC systems providing quality air for HCFCD employees and the public. Qualified firm(s) shall have the ability and sufficient resources to provide repairs and servicing of all HVAC preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies within two (2) hours, finish repairs in a timely manner, troubleshoot, repair, and replace HVAC systems, and provide engineering and related services when needed. Vendor agrees that service, repair, and maintenance of all HVAC systems and equipment shall be performed by competent trained personnel skilled in the work assigned and they shall be certified to service the listed HVAC systems, any such maintenance activity shall meet industry standards. Maintenance personnel shall have at least three (3) years of proven work record on installing and maintaining the listed equipment and shall be manufacturer-certified where applicable.
