Bio-Hazard Cleaning, Sanitizing and/or Disinfecting Services, Fort Wainwright, Alaska
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-06, effective 12 July 2021. The DFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect 9 July 2021.
The combined synopsis/solicitation number is PAN413-21-P-0000-001198 and is issue as a Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with multiple vendors for the purchase of Bio-Hazard Cleaning Services at Fort Wainwright, Alaska (FWA). This requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. In accordance with FAR Clause 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside (which applies to this combined synopsis/solicitation), offers are solicited only from small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected.
DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform cleaning, sanitizing, and/or disinfecting services as defined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor shall provide cleaning, sanitizing, and/or disinfecting services against biological hazards (including both liquid and solid bio-hazards) to work/living spaces in Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The work under this requirement includes, but is not limited to, administrative offices, bedrooms, common areas (dayrooms, fitness rooms, storage rooms, classrooms, laundry rooms, restrooms, hallways, etc.) and floors (carpet, hardwood, tile, refinished, etc.). NOTE: This is not a requirement for basic cleaning services.
PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Services are required and shall be performed at Fort Wainwright, Alaska.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance (POP) shall be of no more than two (2) years from time of award.
