Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work outlined in this SOW and all attachments. Note: There are deviations from the 100% design specifications. See Section 2.1.4.1, Section 2.1.4.2, and Section 2.2.11. The Contractor shall turn over a complete and useable product to the Government. Work shall include the upgrade of the HVAC system for Building 380. All work shall comply with the attachments in Section 8, the Whole Building Design Guide (WBDG), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and Unified Facility Criteria (UFCs). 2.1 Description of Work The Contractor shall accomplish the objectives listed below: 2.1.1 Architectural 2.1.1.1 Sample for asbestos containing materials. 2.1.1.1.1 Sampling shall be random and representative of all areas encountered in the scope of the contract. 2.1.1.1.2 Work shall be accomplished by a Texas Department of State Health Services certified asbestos abatement contractor. 2.1.1.1.3 The Contractor shall be required to provide an abatement design and any planned abatement project. 2.1.1.2 Remove asbestos-containing materials (if present). 2.1.1.2.1 Work shall be accomplished by a Texas Department of State Health Services certified asbestos abatement contractor. 2.1.1.2.2 The Contractor shall conduct all asbestos removal activities by following Texas Law Chapter 1954 – Asbestos Health Protection.
