Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks (KDWP) is soliciting bids from a company or consortium of companies to engage in the installation of a waterline to connect to Wilson County RWD#11 to Fall River State Park in the Quarry Bay Area. Total Approximate Distance of Line from CC Rd & 27th to Quarry Bay Area wellhouse 4,535 feet, and then a spur to the Fall River SP Shop of 1,000 feet. Portions of this line will be in what is considered silty and clay subsoils, with sandstone rock in many sections. Installation will include the trenching, rock sawing when needed, laying of 2” PVC/PE waterline below frost line of 48” (per GWCO Right Of Way required depth) with a sand cushion in the trench with tracer wire, and on the upslope of the ditch, installation of three 2” gate valves for shut off.
