Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful Bidder (the “Provider”) will administer and implement a Health Monitoring Program (the “Program”) for the Department of Environmental Protection (the “Department” or “DEP”) by providing the services described below. The Program must meet all applicable state and federal labor standards for work tasks conducted by Department staff including, but not limited to, the standards cited in OSHA Regulations CFR 29, Parts 1910.120 (Hazardous Chemical Response and Site Mitigation), 1910.134 (Respiratory Protection), 1910.1001 and 1926.1101 (Asbestos Inspectors), and 1910.1025 and 1926.62 (Lead Inspectors). The Provider and the work to be performed under the resulting contract shall be compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) (https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/index.html/).
