Specifications include, but are not limited to: A full market demand analysis will be completed to include: · Population history of the town · Population growth analysis · Ten-year population forecast · Housing occupancy and development analysis · Analysis of housing affordability · Overall housing demand projections The objectives of the housing study will include: 1. Analyze the recent past and present housing situation 2. Identify the future housing target need and demand for Narragansett 3. Design program specific housing projects to address the needs of current Narragansett residents and a tool to attract new residents 4. Address barriers 5. Opportunities for rehabilitation and existing neighborhood development 6. Recommendations and opportunities on existing platted subdivisions 7. Recommend incentives for year-round rentals for residents, low moderate income and the need for multi-household development when appropriate 8. Draft language, for Town Solicitor review, for the town ordinance to give incentives for inclusionary and accessory dwellings 9. Provide additional recommendations to the Town of Narragansett Affordable Housing Trust Collaborative on how to increase affordable housing opportunities for the residents of the Town of Narragansett
