Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected firm must submit a proposal which details how the training program will satisfy the County’s objectives which include, but is not limited to: A. Identify racially motivated violent extremism and associated ideologies, B. Recognize and understand the numerous criminal subcultures and extremist groups living and operating in our jurisdiction, C. Understand and predict they dynamics of encounters with the various criminal subcultures presented, D. Complete safe, competent and thorough investigations involving criminally subversive groups and/or racially motivated individuals, E. Define, explain, and train fellow officers on the recruitment tactics and social media platforms most commonly used by the groups discussed, F. Provide an in-depth class with 6 classes, for a two-day training, with day 1 and 2 taught consecutive days. G. Training to take place on site at the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office before September 30, 2024.
