Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Kansas Department of Commerce seeks a provider to develop a comprehensive advanced manufacturing plan for the State of Kansas; The State of Kansas would like to develop a comprehensive advanced manufacturing plan to help drive Kansas’ competitiveness especially among small and medium manufacturers. Objectives: 1) Develop a comprehensive statewide advanced manufacturing plan that addresses the following topics: a. Future of manufacturing and leveraging Industry 4.0 standards b. Assessment of the Kansas manufacturing landscape c. Kansas assets related to manufacturing 4.0 technology adoption, integration, and development d. Situational assessment of Kansas manufacturers and Industry 4.0 e. Strategies and actions to advance Manufacturing 4.0 and enhance Kansas’ manufacturing ecosystem 2) Address implementation measures for each topic with a timeline for implementation within 2 years of executed contract. 3) Include measures to integrate underserved and underrepresented Kansas populations.
