Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Derry Police Department is requesting bids for after-market equipment and upfitting for ten 2023 Police Interceptor Utility Vehicles for Police service that must meet the criteria listed below. Bidders should bid for the equipment (see attached list) to include removal from existing vehicles, installation in new vehicles, and trade in value for 11 Whelen Liberty light bars, 6 Setina Push Bars, and 1 Cargo Box which are currently owned by the department. The cost of the removal and installation of the equipment shall be listed separately from the cost of the equipment. The after-market outfitter must deliver a minimum of two complete vehicles to the Town per week once the vehicles are received by the outfitter. The bid will be awarded to the most responsive performing low bidder unless supporting information presented recommends another bid. The Town of Derry may reject any or all of the bids on any basis and without disclosure of a reason as in compliance with Administrative Regulation #15 governing purchasing.
