Specifications include, but are not limited to: Design the existing Admin Building to accommodate new Education facility which would include but not be limited to: 1. Demo existing facility including: a. Existing interior administrative office space b. Existing interior workshop c. Existing parking and site features d. Existing access to facility 2. Design new interior space: a. Existing interior redesign to accommodate education Exhibits b. Join existing office space with existing shop c. Design for two new offices including a resource room d. Design for open workspace to facilitate up to 30 individuals e. Redesign existing and expanded area to accommodate a loft (higher ceilings up to 22’). 3. Design for MEP Requirements a. Redesign existing mechanical to accommodate new layout b. Install necessary ADA restrooms (as required) c. Design for additional sinks in shop area d. Redesign lighting for exhibits and new audio-visual considerations 4. Design exterior space (site) to accommodate education facility needs. a. New drive from lower level to upper activity area (see site map) b. Design for outdoor flow through seven (7) permanent exhibits including but not limited to: i. Sculpture garden ii. Picnic area iii. Sand box with small landfill machines iv. Possible Landfill cutaway v. Observation deck vi. New pathways to the top of adjacent hill Landscaping and storm water runoff collection and retainage plans, and designs associated with the Project designs must be included. As part of the Project, County desires assistance in evaluating the phasing and implementation of construction.
