Specifications include, but are not limited to: Substance use disorder treatment counseling or recovery services providers with the ability to have a physical presence and provide services in the Burlington/Chittenden County area, for individuals involved with or transitioning out of the criminal justice system. Proposed activities to increase access for justice involved individuals to substance use disorder counseling and/or recovery services should be one, or a combination, of the following: 1. Development of a system for direct referrals to recovery services from Public Inebriate Programs. 2. Creation of remote access stations in which justice involved individuals without access to technology may be provided a private area to utilize the technology necessary to engage in tele-counseling or remote recovery services. 3. One-time purchase of technology, such as phones, for the purpose of connecting justice involved individuals and/or individuals transitioning out of correctional facilities with recovery coaching and/or telemedicine services 4. One-time purchase of technology for the purpose of a lending library to be utilized by individuals transitioning out of incarceration to access telehealth treatment services and/or remove recovery services.
