Specifications include, but are not limited to: This scope of work covers the requirements to provide SJCCD with vehicle maintenance, repair, and tire service for semi-tractor trailers, buses, and heavy trucks. Work shall include all material, labor, and equipment necessary in performing all operations in connection with maintenance and repairs, which may include, but is not limited to the following: 2.1. Computer diagnostic assessment 2.2. Emergency towing charge per mile 2.3. Oil change (shall include the following): a. Change vehicle's oil, up to five (5) quarts of top-quality motor oil b. Replace oil filter with top quality filter c. Inspect wiper blades and replace, if needed (do not include price of blades) d. Lubricate all grease fittings (if needed) e. Check & fill (if needed) the following fluids: break, transmission/transaxle, differential and coolant, power steering, and windshield f. Check & fill (if needed) battery water g. Check & inflate tires to proper pressure and condition h. Check all exterior lights i. Check & aim headlights (if necessary) j. Both must meet manufacturer recommendations 2.4. State inspections 2.5. Jump start 2.6. Battery (HD) – Replacement (must meet Manufacturing Amperage Specifications) 2.7. Battery (HD) – On board diagnostic inspections 2.8. Tune up including plugs (Six Cylinder) 2.9. Replacement of positive crankcase ventilation (PVC) valve 2.10. Replacement of fuel filter 2.11. Replacement of air filter 2.12. Radiator flush (Including Fluid) 2.13. Transmission (Drain/Replace Fluid/Clean Filter) 2.14. Replace Alternator 2.15. Replace HVAC 2.16. Replace Axle wheel seals 2.17. Replace Hubs 2.18. Replace Clutch 2.19. Replace Water pumps 2.20. Repair Electrical 2.21. Tire Repair, specify type of repair (interior patch or equivalent) 2.22. Remove & replace (per tire) 2.23. Tire Balance 2.24. Tire Rotation (with brake inspection) 2.25. Replace front slotted disc brakes (full - all parts & labor) 2.26. Replace rear drum brakes (full - all parts & labor) 2.27. Turn brake drums (per pair) 2.28. Turn/cut rotors (per pair) 2.29. Replace rotors (per pair, full - all parts & labor) 2.30. Rebuild wheel cylinders (each) 2.31. Rebuild master cylinder (each) 2.32. Flush brake fluid 2.33. Alignment: Front Pair (2 Wheels) 2.34. Alignment: Rear Pair (2 Wheels) 2.35. Alignment: Front & Rear (4 Wheels)
