Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Gilford is requesting proposals from capable companies (contractor/bidder) to replace the jet ski ramp and restore/ stabilize the scour areas at and associated with the main boat ramp and jet ski ramp at the town docks (Glendale Town Docks) located at 33 Dock Road in Gilford. All work performed must be done in accordance with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) Wetlands and Non-Site-Specific Permit 2022-02210; Item 1. Site Preparation, Mobilization, Demobilization, Site Clean-up. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Site Plans and Proposed Work Photographs included in Appendices. A turbidity net will be utilized during all phases of the project. The work area shall be limited to the area defined in the Site Plans. As part of this project no trees or vegetation will be removed and there will be no change to the shoreline (with exception of new jet ski ramp). Item 2. Jet Ski Ramp Replacement. The jet ski ramp is significantly deteriorated, it is proposed to be replaced with locking precast concrete planks. The ramp will be stabilized at the top plank that will be on the upland side of the high-water mark. Contractor must complete installation of top plank in one of two allowable ways: 1. poured-in-place concrete over piles support plank or 2. precast anchor block(s). All materials and hardware utilized in the project shall meet NH Fish and Game specifications for boat ramp installations. Brief description of methods and materials proposed to be used are requested in the Bid Sheet. Item 3. Restore and Stabilize Scour Areas. The scour areas for both ramps will be stabilized by filling in the area with large stone, gravel and sand and a top material (if as determined by contractor) to protect from future undermining. Means, methods and materials used to complete this item are are at the discretion of the contractor as long as the intents of NHDES Permit 2022-02210 are met.
