Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Contractor shall provide and assign one (1) security guard to patrol the grounds of Ke Kula Makaʻi during their shift. 2. Security guards shall sign in and note the date and time in the security log book at the beginning of each watch and shall check previous entries and security clipboard for any special instructions. 3. Security guards shall report any significant occurrence in the security log book, as soon as practicable, as it occurs during the security guard's duty hours. 4. For emergency situations after hours, security guards on duty shall call the Honolulu Police Department Communications Division and/or the Honolulu Fire Department. 5. Security guards shall permit only authorized personnel to enter Ke Kula Makaʻi after regular City business hours, defined as 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. 6. Security guards shall make periodic rounds of inspection of Ke Kula Makaʻi, check for intruders, and patrol to ensure that all outside doors are secured. 7. Security guards shall open or close doors and perform other similar duties at times designated by the OIC or an authorized representative of the OIC. 8. The regular schedule of required security guard coverage is as follows: a. Weekdays (Monday through Friday): 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. the following morning. b. Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays: 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. the following morning. 9. The work schedule may be adjusted by the City based on need and availability of funds, including holidays. 10. Security guards shall park their vehicles in the designated parking stalls only.
