Specifications include, but are not limited to: Windows 1. Contractor is responsible for accurate measurements of all windows. 2. Replace any damaged wood in frame. 3. Furnish and install eight (8) sliding windows on north and south side of building and two (2) LowE with argon picture windows on west side of building (front). (10 total windows). 4. All windows provided must meet AAMA Gold Label certification. 5. Energy efficient windows will have low air infiltration of 0.23 CFM (cubic feet per minute) or better. 6. Bidders must provide data sheets and information on proposed products. 7. Bidder shall provide a color chart or available colors. SCP+R will choose color options from those provided. 8. Provide new interior trim and paint as needed. Siding and Trim 1. Contractor is responsible for accurate measurements of all siding and trim. 2. Replace any damaged wood with plywood or similar and install house wrap before new siding is installed. 3. Furnish and install a prefinished James Hardie Plank Select Cedarmill 8” Exposure, including all corners. Siding color desired is Gray Slate. 4. Furnish and install a prefinished James Hardie Panel Cedarmill 16” Board & Batten siding on peak triangles on front and back of building. Siding color desired is Iron Gray. 5. Cover all window and door frames in new James Hardie Rustic trim boards, desired color of Iron Gray. The shelter is equipped with ten (10) windows and two (2) doors. Bidders will be expected to inspect and obtain all necessary measurements. 6. All exterior paintable wood should be eliminated or covered. 7. Canopy over front door to be permanently removed during project. 8. Miscellaneous caulking, fasteners and sealants as needed.
