Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. The design, delivery model, and content of professional development, training, online coursework, modules, and resources that support special education inclusion and the successful growth of inclusive practices that addresses six of the critical themes: a. Instructional Settings b. Collaboration and Shared Ownership c. Instructional Excellence for Diverse Learners d. In-Class Support Models and Strategies e. Peer and Family Relationships f. Effective Use of Personnel 2. Provide information and best practice guidelines for supporting student academic achievement and attainment of General Learner Outcomes (GLOs). GLOs are the overarching goals of standards-based learning for all students at all grade levels. Provide Complex Area staff the implementation, design, delivery model, curriculum and content of professional development, training, online coursework, modules and supports, for approval by the Complex Area. 4. Align training to the goals, objectives, and success indicators of the statewide Hawaii State Department of Education Strategic Plan. Provide all handouts and materials needed for workshops.
