Specifications include, but are not limited to: Idaho State Police is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to provide snow and ice removal for the ISP complex in Meridian, ID. 10.2.1. The Contractor is responsible for all listed acts of snow “clearing” and “ice melting services” for the Idaho State Police hereinafter referred to as ISP, and take place at ISP Meridian complex at 700 S Stratford, Meridian, ID hereinafter referred to as the Facility for the entirety of the “season” in accordance with the drawings and specifications. 10.3. Fixed Price Services 10.3.1. The Contractor must Clear snow and perform Ice Melting Services on all Snow Clearing Areas as depicted in exhibit B 10.3.2. The Contractor must clear snow and perform ice melting services from parking lots to make parking accessible and safe to persons driving and walking with normal care. The Contractor must provide applications of sand to inclines during adverse weather conditions. On-site storage for sand is available. 10.3.3. The Contractor must clear snow and perform ice melting services from sidewalks and steps to make safe to persons walking with normal care. The Contractor must provide applications of sand to inclines during adverse weather conditions. On-site storage for sand is available. 10.3.4. The Contractor must ensure that no more than ten percent (10%) of the parking spots in any parking area are blocked by piles of snow due to snow plowing. 10.3.5. The Contractor must ensure fire lanes, other emergency lanes, fire hydrants, utility meters, and access points are not blocked by piles of snow 10.3.6. Contractor is responsible for ensuring snow is not piled in area from which melting will cause damage from standing water or flooding.
