Specifications include, but are not limited to: Road maintenance includes blading roads, cleaning ditches, removing slides from ditches and backslopes, cleaning culvert catch basins, and removing all fallen trees, limbs or brush from the travel way or ditch line and scattering them outside the travel way, and other miscellaneous maintenance work. The roads upon which the work is to be performed are narrow, crooked, and mountainous. Specific direction for accomplishing the work on each Task Order will be provided by the Contracting Officer (CO) in charge of that project. Requirements under individual Task Orders may vary; all questions about specific projects should he directed to the CO for that project. All equipment provided shall be in good mechanical and operating condition and shall be operated by skilled operators experienced in the type of work for which the equipment is being ordered. The Contractor is responsible for providing all operating supplies, operators, repairs and support functions required to perform the required work on a per hour basis, and competent laborer/helpers as ordered by the DNRC. The Contractor is responsible for assuring that all equipment meets the specifications in the Schedule of Items, Specifications for Equipment below, all applicable OSHA and DOT requirements or certifications, and for obtaining all required permits.
