All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Ada County Highway District (ACHD) and Nampa Highway District #1 seek Statements of Qualifications (SoQ) from firms interested in providing design and related professional services for the Franklin Road, McDermott Road to Black Cat Road Design. Two ACHD projects are included in this contract: 1. Franklin Road and McDermott Road a. Intersection improvement project b. Joint project with Nampa Highway District No. 1 2. Franklin Road, McDermott Road to Black Cat Road a. Corridor improvement project which includes realigning/widening to five (5) lanes; A. Intersection analysis at the Franklin Road and McDermott Road intersection and design of the chosen intersection 1. Analysis to include signalized intersection and roundabout B. Road widening to include 2 lanes in each direction, center lane with medians, 4-foot wide buffers, 10- foot wide pathways, and 2-foot wide utility zones behind the back of the pathway C. Enhanced pedestrian and bicycle facilities 1. 10-foot wide multi-use pathways on both sides of Franklin Rd at and east of McDermott Rd (a) Tie into and/or modify existing pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure on the west side of Black Cat Rd 2. 5-foot wide detached sidewalk west of McDermott Rd (a) Tie into existing sidewalk
