Specifications include, but are not limited to: hese structures carry United States Route (US) 50 over Salem Fork and a North Bend Rail Trail, and is located 0.30 mile east of County Route (CR) 50/6. The eastbound bridge consists of seven (7) spans with four (4) steel girders having an overall length of 520 feet and a deck width out-to-pout of 36 feet, 7 inches. The westbound bridge consists of eight (8) spans with six (6) steel girders having an overall length of 623 feet, 6 inches and a deck width out-to-out of 42 feet, 4 inches. The professional engineering services for this replacement projects shall include the design of construction plans, right-of-way plans, surveying, geotechnical services and traffic engineering services with special consideration to Design Directive 681 – Work Zone Safety and Mobility.
