Specifications include, but are not limited to: The existing plan, entitled the “Ada County Park and Open Space Master Plan,” was developed in 2007. Over the last fifteen (15) years, Ada County has experienced a significant growth in population, which has been accompanied by a substantial increase in the use of existing parks, waterways, trails, pathways, green spaces, open spaces, and associated recreation centers, facilities, programs, and services that are provided, managed, and maintained by Ada County. Accordingly, the existing plan has become outdated, necessitating the need to create an updated Ada County Parks & Waterways Master Plan to ensure that Ada County can successfully maintain and improve these recreation spaces, programs, and services now and into the future.
