Specifications include, but are not limited to: Depending on the outage duration that is desired to be serviceable, the Office of Energy Resources (OER) on behalf of DOA seeks bids from qualified solar and battery storage installers for one of two potential pairings for solar + battery storage: • 24-hour outage: a ground-mount PV add-on project non-exporting 5 kW-DC PV system paired with a 5 kw / 39 kwh battery, or similarly sized equipment. • 48-hour outage: a ground-mount PV add-on project, non-exporting 10 kW-DC PV system paired with a 6 kw / 56 kwh battery, or similarly sized equipment. The host customer also requires assistance in O&M to ensure the energy storage system functions as intended and can serve the onsite load during an outage. This system must include a smart energy management system to ensure that the new system does not export to the grid, while adhering to Rhode Island Energy’s requirements for installing a non-exporting system
