Specifications include, but are not limited to: ● The purpose of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to solicit commercial pressure washing services for various locations on the Boise State University campus ● All pedestrian surfaces must be pressure washed with water at least 180 degrees Fahrenheit. ● Contractor must have ownership of commercial grade equipment ● Pressure washer engine must be equipped with sufficient exhaust noise suppression to produce no more than 85 db. at a distance of 10’ from the pressure washer ● Pressure washing system must be equipped with a vacuum operated wash water reclaim/recycle system that is capable of point of wash recovery when using a vacuum equipment rotary flat surface cleaner. Recovery rate of wash water shall be no less than 95% ● Reclaim system will be equipped with an oil/water separator that processes wash water to no more than 100 parts per million (ppm) when processed ● In the recycle mode, the system is capable of reducing water consumption by at least 90% ● All wash water management strategies will be submitted to the Environmental Health Safety & Sustainability administrator of the campus for approval prior to starting work in any area
