Specifications include, but are not limited to: Successful bidder shall meet the following specifications: 1. Provide Track Excavator (size equal to 36,000-40,000 pound machine with a 30 foot reach, hydraulic thumb and standard digging bucket) with a heated enclosed cab. 2. Excavator must be in good working order and condition and equipped with front work lights and operator’s manual. 3. Excavator usage is estimated at approx.160 hrs. per month (1 month = 28 Calendar Days). 4. City will be responsible for all daily vehicle checks prior to use. 5. Contractor shall be responsible for all repairs not including preventative maintenance such as oil changes or topping off lubricants. 6. If excavator is down and cannot be repaired within 48 hours, another excavator shall be provided. There will be no charge for pickup and delivery of replacement excavator. 7. Contractor to provide telephone number and address of person to contact in the event that the excavator experiences mechanical difficulties and the contractor needs to be reached. 8. Lessor shall invoice the City of Augusta on a monthly basis.
