Specifications include, but are not limited to: SFCA is seeking the coordination and execution of two student art competitions servicing all of Hawaii's students from grades K-12. The Contractor shall design, print, and distribute exhibition guidelines to all schools statewide. These guidelines shall provide the requirements and specifications for the creation and submittal of artwork by students in grades K-12. The guidelines for the Scholastic Exhibition should be communicated in early fall for submission of student work before the Hawai‘i regional submission deadline on December 15, 2022. The guidelines for the Young Artists of Hawai‘i at the Hawai‘i State Art Museum should be communicated in late October 2022 for submission of student work in early February 2023. B. SELECTION OF STUDENT ARTWORK The Contractor shall select and organize panels of judges who are recognized and known for their experience in judging student artworks and/or their expertise in selecting artwork representative of the diverse communities across the state. C. TRANSPORTATION OF STUDENT ARTWORK The Contractor will coordinate the transportation of artwork from students’ schools to the jurying site (if any) to the exhibition site and their return to students or schools following the closing of the exhibition. D. INSTALLATION OF ARTWORKS Working with the Contractor, SFCA shall provide installation services for student artworks. SFCA provides all supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of the works of art. E. AWARDS CEREMONY The awards ceremonies shall include: specially designed and printed invitations and exhibition catalogs the production of student award and scholarship certificates, lei for students, speakers, and honored guests, catering for 300 guests, and entertainment to be organized by the Contractor.
