Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Proposer will be tasked with the design of transportation-related structures including, but not limited to, bridges (small to moderate size), retaining walls, soundwalls, hydraulic structures, signs, luminaires, and traffic signals. Bridge-related work may also include the design of new or replacement structures, rehabilitating or widening structures, seismic retrofits, design checks, load-ratings, drafting and geotechnical investigations. Work related to DEPARTMENT Standard Plan updates and design manual development may be requested. Additional engineering services, project delivery, or other engineering disciplines support services related to the delivery of bridge projects, Plans, Specifications and Estimate (PS&E) documents, and construction support may also be necessary. This may include, but not limited to, Roadway Design, estimating, Maintenance of Traffic plans, Hydraulics, etc. The Proposer’s scope of services will include the development of structural design calculations and plan sheets, quantity calculations, estimates and notes to specifications.
