Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1- Survey process kick-off and informing staff Human Resources and UNM Leadership will meet with vendor to discuss goals and objectives for the project, schedule and logistics and survey design. In order to have a high level of participation, it will be important to implement a Pre-Survey communication plan. UNM and Vendor will work together to prepare a comprehensive communication plan including but not limited to the following: • Announcement of survey • Newsletter articles in HR newsletter • Message in President’s weekly email • HR forums Deliverable for Task 1: Comprehensive communication plan and pre-communication tasks complete Task 2- Design of Survey instrument EOD, HRIT, Leadership and Survey committee will work with Vendor to develop the content of the survey. Employment area focus groups will also be involved in the design of the survey. The survey should be short and focused and potentially address the following areas: • Job • Manager/Supervisor • Department • University Leadership • Professional development • Recognition and Rewards • Benefits • Work life balance • Perception of UNM Ensure balance of open ended and closed ended questions to gain the most useful data.
