In early 2021, Marzano Research created a logic model for this Literacy Team during a previous project. As the Literacy Team moves into their second year of operation, they will (1) revisit the logic model they originally created with Marzano Research, (2) reflect on the past year in order to, (3) plan for the future, particularly for the events that they hold to support district- and school- level literacy coaches, (4) discuss effective coaching practices, particularly building relationships with classroom teachers, and (5) develop supports for literacy-specific coaching. This work will take place during monthly meetings from November 2022 through April 2024 as well as during their three full-day in-person retreats in October 2022, spring 2023, and spring 2024.
