Specifications include, but are not limited to: • The contractor shall provide licensed court reporters proficient in the skills of Computer Aided Transcription (CAT) to report and transcribe all scheduled proceedings as directed by the Chairman or designee. • The contractor shall recover the cost of preparing and furnishing transcripts directly from the responsible utility or the party-specified Chairman or designee. The Contractor shall deliver to the relevant Agencies an original transcript and one copy thereof to the accountable utility or party within the specified time limits. • When requested, the Contractor shall deliver to the relevant Agency a “Transcript Status Report” indicating by docket number, docket title, the hearing date, the type of service provided, the date the transcript was delivered to the Agencies, and which parties received copies. Additionally, other information may be requested to be included in the Transcript Status Report”, the Chairman or designee. • The Contractor shall obtain prior approval from the Chairman or designee before any expedited or next-day transcript is prepared. • The Agencies do not provide office space for the Contractor. However, if a work area is deemed available by the Chairman, it may be used by the Contractor with prior approval. • All necessary equipment and supplies to produce transcripts as described in this contract shall be provided by the Contractor.
