Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this solicitation is to ensure all Minnesotans are made aware of the importance of getting their flu and COVID-19 vaccinations to help protect themselves and others from these potentially serious diseases. To provide this information in the past two years, the Minnesota Department of Health (“MDH” or “State”) has launched a Band Together to Protect Each Other campaign around National Influenza Vaccination Week (early December). The campaign featured bandage art created by Minnesota artists of which MDH has usage rights through Dec. 31, 2022. Advertising was purchased and placed in internet/digital, newspaper, magazine and social media outlets throughout the state. A portion of this campaign can be found online at https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/flu/band/index.html. MDH requests proposals from qualified responders to use the existing campaign elements and re-run the campaign by purchasing ad space on relevant channels to reach the desired audience of Minnesotans age 18 to 49 years old. The responder should also be able to make any needed revisions to the campaign materials, such as updating text or graphics, as needed. The campaign message is to convey the importance of obtaining flu and COVID-19 vaccinations to help protect oneself and others. The ad agency will develop a media purchasing plan that optimizes reach to the target audience, purchase ad space, facilitate placing the ads on agreed upon media channels, track metrics for the campaign to evaluate performance, and assist in updating text or graphics on the as needed. The targeted length of the campaign is from late November 2022 through December 31, 2022.
