Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The persons being served are parties to a NIVD case. 2. Have proper licenses(s) for the services specified in this RFP. 3. The person(s) to be served are within Sedgwick County and occasionally surrounding counties. 4. The department anticipates it will have approximately 20 to 40 cases per month. These figures are estimates only and are not a guarantee of minimum work. 5. The vendors awarded the contract will pick up the packet/paperwork from Sedgwick County Court Trustee office or receive via email. 6. Will need to make three (3) attempts to serve packet/paperwork. Only personally served packet/paperwork will be paid. 7. The packet/paperwork shall be available four (4) or more weeks in advance. 8. The packet/paperwork shall be served at least three (3) days before the scheduled hearing date. 9. Return of service must be completed and filed with the Clerk of the District Court two (2) days prior to hearing. 10. Honesty and integrity of the service of process procedure are of prime importance. 11. Shall have due diligence in all cases. 12. Falsified or misleading return of service documents or falsified or misleading information will be grounds for termination of the contract. 13. The awarded vendor/person may be required to testify regarding the service made. 14. Confidentiality on any and all information, whether printed, written, electronic, or oral, concerning any and all persons, NIVD recipients, noncustodial parents, employers, or any other persons or entities, provided to the vendor, shall be maintained in accordance with state and federal laws, and amendments thereto, regarding disclosure of such information.
