Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project consists of retrofit improvements to five (5) existing stormwater detention basins at various locations along Route 4, Route 403 and I95. The proposed retrofit improvements include installation of pretreatment practices, new or modified out control structures, basin excavation and fill, limited liner removal and maintenance improvements to modify the systems to meet the latest design guidance. Modifications to basin geometry and water surface elevation through excavation/fill or meditation to outlet elevation, are typical to create specific ponding conditions and promote emergent plant life for biological treatment process. Other work items include the construction of maintenance access roads, cleaning of catch basins and pipes and installation and maintenance of erosion control devices.
