Components of this tool should include: 1. Backend baseline database for families to select and import the following estimated information to begin comparison of college costs: a. High Education Institutions by State b. Current (or previous year) Tuition & Fees c. Tuition discount information for Merit and Need 2. Once estimate out of pocket college expense is determined, next step would be inputs to model multi-year sustainable payment strategy for the average of 4 years of education. All of these inputs should have brief description fields: a. Inputs for Grants & Scholarships b. Inputs for lump sum cash to be applied c. Inputs for any reduction that can be managed by a payment plan d. Inputs for Federal Loans (Subsidized & Unsubsidized) e. Inputs for Supplemental loans (Private Loans and PLUS) 3. Tool should provide a summary page of the information modeled by the user. 4. Private Labelling of this tool is preferred to feature our logo and ability to add links to our website that can provide families with additional informational resources and lead generation for RISLA.
