Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Neighborhood Outreach Grant Program was created to assist neighborhood groups to continue their participation and outreach to residents of Bernalillo County. Listed are several possible projects to consider, but not limited to: Workshops/Training, oral histories and other historical projects specific to your neighborhood, service-oriented projects, neighborhood art initiatives, crime prevention projects as well as neighborhood social events that bring you and your neighbors closer together. Other recent projects that proved successful have included neighborhood gardens, historical home tours, the dedication of a special memorial mural as well as neighborhood beautification and landscaping projects.
