This tool is intended to help students easily navigate their unique Jayhawk journey from as early as initial interest through completion of degree. The desired experience should include a web and mobile solution that supports students through each step of the entire student journey with a unified set of personalized services and self-service tools. The University is seeking an Academic Planning Software technology that will allow students and faculty/staff to work together to dynamically create educational plans that will allow students to graduate on time while following an institution-provided degree map to promote student progression and completion. This solution should allow a user-friendly experience for students and academic advisors to review information frequently, make changes as needed, enroll in courses from the plan, communicate with advisors, and other needs identified by the institution. This tool must integrate curriculum degree maps and catalog content provided by academic units with student-specific context provided by a degree progress report to deliver a forward-looking view to students of their academic plan. The goals expressed include the selection of a vendor to support the current functions, services, and activities of the University.
