Specifications include, but are not limited to: The state of Hawaii Department of Health (DOH) through its Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) via its Adult Mental Health Division (AMHD) is implementing Hawaii’s first Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) in Maui County. Maui County CCBHC’s (MC-CCBHC) purpose is to facilitate recovery by providing access to high-quality evidence-based care in the provision of mental health and substance use disorder services, regardless of an individual’s age, residence, or ability to pay. The AMHD is planning to procure contracted staffing services from qualified applicants to provide year-long contracted positions with opportunity to renew annually in Maui County, HI. These contracted positions are to meet the urgent staffing requirements for clinic services in the MC-CCBHC. The applicant’s contracted staff shall perform their duties at the CCBHC and will be serving persons of all ages living with behavioral health concerns and/or substance use disorders. a. Provide contracted staff in the listed position types in “b.” below to meet the urgent staffing requirements at the Maui CCBHC. Applicant may submit proposals that cover some but not necessarily all requested position types as fits the applicant’s staffing service specialty areas. b. Anticipated contracted staffing position titles include: Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN-Rx), Physician Assistant (PA), Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Specialist (LCSW, MFT, LMHC), Mental Illness / Substance Abuse Coordinator (CSAC), Care Coordinator (QMHP), Case Manager, Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Peer Support Specialist, Occupational Therapist (OT), Office Assistant (OA), and Certified Billing Coding Specialist. c. Ensure that at least one contracted staff is available to provide services in the CCBHC for a given position when a request for service is submitted to the Applicant by the CCBHC.
