Specifications include, but are not limited to: The owner may make such investigations as he deems necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform the work, and the bidder shall furnish the Owner all such information and data for this purpose as the Owner may request. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract. Equipment is to include experienced operator & fuel and to be in good operating condition, capable of performing the work as required without excessive downtime. Downtime for maintenance and repairs will not be chargeable to the Town. Payments for services will be paid on a weekly basis. Also, a climber – chainsaw operator is to be included in the price per hour. The Town will provide traffic control BUT YOU will be responsible for all clean up Including Chipping, hauling of tree(s) once they are on the ground.
