Specifications include, but are not limited to: the purchase of two newly-manufactured steel passenger boarding bridges, three elevated glass covered walkways, and related equipment at the Fort Wayne International Airport. 1. Manufacture of 2 steel apron drive bridge meeting the detailed specifications contained in Exhibit A & B. The jet bridges, designed to extend from the specified walkway included as part of this proposal, will enable passengers to walk from the terminal to the aircraft boarding door while protected from atmospheric conditions, aircraft engine blast, and blown dust. The apron drive bridge will consist of the following major components as specifically specified in Exhibit B: rotunda and corridor, tunnel sections, drive column, landing service door, and the cab bubble, cab, and aircraft closure. 2. Vertical pillars/columns as required (new rotunda column only for existing PBB at gate 4). 3. Walkways. Manufacture, provide, a transitional walkway to provide acceptable slope for passengers when exiting the terminal second floor to the jet bridge entrance as specified in Exhibit B. 4. Warranty. A minimum 1-year parts and labor warranty will be provided for all equipment. Warranty clock will not begin until equipment has been installed and has operated without serious issues for 30 days. 5. Training. The contractor will provide training to airport personnel and tenants on the use and maintenance of the passenger boarding bridge after installation sometime in late 2024.
