All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Each potential contractor should visit the job site to verify measurements and to become fully aware of the conditions relating to the project and the labor requirements. Failure to do so will not relieve the successful contractor of their obligation to furnish all materials and labor necessary to carry out the provisions of the contract. The Contractor shall adequately protect the work, adjacent property, and the public in all phases of the work. The Contractor shall be responsible for all damages or injury due to their action or neglect. The Contractor shall maintain access to all phases of the project pending inspection by the State or its representative. All work rejected as unsatisfactory shall be corrected prior to final inspection and acceptance. The Contractor shall respond within seven calendar days after notice of observed defects has been given and shall proceed to immediately remedy these defects. Should the Contractor fail to respond to the notice or not remedy the defects, the State may have the work corrected at the Contractor's expense. In terms of cleanup, the Contractor shall: (a) Keep the premises free from debris and accumulation of waste; (b) Clean up any oil or fuel spills; (c) Keep machinery clean and free of weeds; (d) Remove all construction smears and stains from finished surfaces; (e) Perform finishing site preparation to limit the spread of noxious weeds before final payment by the State; and (f) Remove all construction equipment, tools, and excess materials before final payment by the State. All work must take place when air temperature is above freezing unless prior approval by CS. For work on planted crops, The Contractor shall contact the Landowner to arrange the work on the well. Work on the well may be delayed until crops are harvested by the landowner. Wells must be grouped together to save on mob and de-mob costs. Sage Grouse timing restrictions must be followed for wells in core habitat and general habitat when within 2 miles of active lek. See attached well list for detailed restrictions. Bidders must provide an itemized well breakdown of costs when submitting a response to this invitation for bid. DNRC reserves the right to remove a well from the contract and reduce the total contracted dollar amount based on the bid provided by the Contractor. Awarded Contractor must provide an onsite supervisor and a daily itemized cost to CS to ensure each well stays within budget. Any work done by a Subcontractor(s) shall be listed on the daily itemized cost report. DNRC is aware that there may be unforeseen issues that may develop in this project. If an exception is needed the Contractor shall contact to the CS for approval. Any unforeseen issues will be billed at actual cost. A regional map, PDF files with completion reports and well directions, written plugging plan, and an excel spreadsheet with full well listing of each well to be plugged and reclaimed are attached. The well spreadsheet contains: Well locations, Sage grouse timing restrictions, Well depth and perf intervals, Whether there are any associated pits to be reclaimed, Surface owner for well location, The Contractor is responsible for the reclamation of each well.
