Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the streambank stabilization projects required on the Big Blue River; The Kansas Department of Agriculture (KDA) Division of Conservation has funding to address streambank erosion and reservoir sedimentation in the Tuttle Creek Reservoir Basin. The Tuttle Creek watershed is one of the three Kansas watersheds identified as priority areas for sediment control by the Kansas Water Vision. Rehabilitation of the riparian forest buffer adjacent to the stream is also a goal of this project. Streambank sites on the Big Blue River have been designed for stabilization. Surveying and design was completed in 2018 by Wildhorse Riverworks. Based on the proposed designs, this Invitation for Bid (IFB) has been issued by the KDA Division of Conservation for construction of the streambank stabilization projects. The KDA Division of Conservation is requesting bids for streambank stabilization on the Big Blue River in Marshall County, Kansas. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for the streambank stabilization. There are three (3) project sites requiring stabilization in this bid group.
