Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work shall consist of furnishing and stockpiling gravel material meeting NDDOT Class 5 specifications. The gravel material can be stockpiled in the Contractors pit. The gravel material will be hauled off site by Garrison Diversion Conservancy District employees after completion of stockpiling. Product shall be material prepared from stone composed of hard, strong, and durable particles, free from excess deleterious substances, includes shale, siltstone, friable sandstone, achre, coal, and particles that are structurally weak (particles can be broken or crumbled by the fingers of one hand). The material shall be graded conforming to the following gradation: Approved Spec Sieve Size Percent Passing 1" 100 3/4" 90-100 5/8" 1/2" 3/8" N0. 4 35-70 No. 10 No. 30 16-40 No. 200 4-10 Plasticity Index N/A Fractured Faces 10%
