Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will perform maintenance, tests, inspections, annual service, (6) six-year teardowns, refills and recharging that shall be completed by qualified, factory authorized, certified fire extinguisher companies that are actively licensed in the State of Idaho. The contractor shall service the handheld fire extinguishers according to manufacturer specifications, federal, state, OSHA, safety, and fire codes or any other applicable government agency. Contractor will perform annual services for Valley Regional Transit (VRT) on all fire extinguishers at the facility and on buses as per the requirements of NFPA 10. Immediately upon arrival at the facilities site, the Contractor’s representative will sign in and notify VRT or Transit Contractor staff of arrival. The Contractor’s representative will secure permission from VRT authorized on-site representative prior to commencing fire extinguisher annual service.
