Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Casa Grande (City) is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide preconstruction services and complete construction services as the CMAR for the City’s planned Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Upgrades project, hereinafter referred to as “the Project.” This CMAR is intended to provide pre-construction services up to and including creation of a guaranteed maximum price for construction, and then execute construction of the project. These construction services are intended be provided under two or more separate Contracts. Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Upgrades The Project is intended to upgrade the facility and increase treatment capacity from 12 to 18 million gallon per day (mgd), including the following improvements: Influent Pump Station capacity increase from 24 to 36 mgd utilizing existing wet well A super-oxygenation system for sulfide reduction and odor mitigation Conversion of a 3.5-MG pre-treatment basin to an influent flow equalization basin New 12-mgd EQ influent pump station and 6-mgd EQ effluent pump station A fixed-film module retrofit of the existing oxidation ditch process (no new basins) Tertiary disc filtration expansion in existing vacant basins Effluent pump station capacity increase from 12 to 18 mgd utilizing existing clear well Solids handling upgrades Electrical, instrumentation and controls improvements to support new and modified equipment
