Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Nevada Purchasing Division, on behalf of Department of Administration’s Nevada State Library Archives and Public Records (NSLAPR) Division on behalf of the Nevada Library Cooperative (CoOp) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide an Integrated Library System (ILS) as described in the scope of work and attachments. The CoOp’s 16 member libraries across 38 locations seeks an affordable, reliable, scalable, 100% cloud-hosted, web-based, customer service-oriented ILS solution for its shared catalog of approximately 1.1 million items and 106,000 patrons serving almost all Nevada’s rural counties. The awarded vendor will provide online and mobile device patron portals, patron notification systems, access to statistical and management database reports and integration with 3rd-party enhanced library services providers/vendors, with straight-forward cost information for all services and estimates of costs for onboarding of potential future members. The CoOp may require the 3 vendors with the highest score after the initial evaluation to provide further details of the following subjects in .pdf form; end-user ease of use of the ILS for patrons including registration and notifications, details of access to reporting functions, and details for Staff technical access to “back-end” functionality for importing and exporting items, weeding collections , offline functionality, and any special functions included in the system The awarded vendor will incorporate data migration, training, and implementation costs.
