Specifications include, but are not limited to:The work encompassed in this contract shall include, but not be limited to, replacement of existing traffic signal controllers with Naztec Commander traffic signal controllers in existing cabinets, replacement of traffic signal cabinets on existing foundations, installation of AI field monitoring unit, integration of Commander traffic signal controllers with specified traffic management software, installation of Gridsmart 360 degree video detection systems, installation of battery backup systems, and replacement of loop detectors, for Mineral Spring Avenue (Route 15) and the US-44 corridor throughout Johnston, North Providence, Pawtucket, Providence, and Smithfield. Not every signalized intersection encompassed within the project limits will require each item listed prior, and requirements for each intersection are depicted in the contract plans.
