Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project involves provisions of estimating, labor, supervision, travel costs, equipment, materials and other services as specified in this bid package for “non-emergency” commercial plumbing services within the City of Manchester. The City maintains approximately 70 structures and there is a need for plumbing services as needed and as funding allows. The City will enter into a written contract for Plumbing Services with the ability to extend for up to five years based on the bid tabulations. Each to be determined plumbing project will utilize an approach as follows, 1. Detailed estimate by contracted plumber of work to be accomplished and based on bid values. 2. If approved, the City will issue a purchase order for that specific project based on bid tabulated costs of services and material costs plus markup. 3. The contractor will proceed with the work based on the estimate. 4. Once completed, inspected and accepted by the City including any cleanup, invoice the City for the work.
