Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Yuma is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified professional engineering firms (Contractor) for Water and Wastewater Systems (On Call Services) to be considered for a Professional Contractors Selection List aimed at capital improvement projects. Only Contractors capable of providing the requested discipline category of professional service will receive consideration. All processes will be conducted in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes, Title 34. Note: For large or complex projects or very specialized work, the City may use a formal solicitation method to seek the service. The City plans to contract for professional services for specific projects that fall within the discipline categories listed below. The scope of work for these specific projects may include but is not limited to the outline of services presented in the SOQ, Services to be performed by Contractor. Please note, all projects involving the preparation of design plans and specifications must be sealed by a registered professional Engineer licensed in the State of Arizona. The Professional Contractors Selection List of discipline categories are: 1. Water Systems. Services may include hydrologic studies, permitting, engineering evaluations, feasibility studies, electrical evaluations and design, well and treatment facility assessments and optimization studies, power studies, ground water and distribution systems modeling, pump stations, water storage facilities and treatment design and process improvements. Services may include but not be limited to: construction management and process management or construction administration and inspection services, such as estimation, cost of service and rate study, integrated water master plan updates, community outreach, bid document preparation and scope of work documents, QA/QC services, shop drawing review and post design services. 2. Wastewater Systems. Services may include engineering evaluations, feasibility studies, electrical evaluations and design, professional recommendations, and completed designs for: collection conveyance components, manholes, interceptors, gravity and force main piping, sewage lift stations, recharge and reuse conveyance, storage, and pumping stations, waste generation and disposal systems, treatment components, treatment process improvements, chemical treatment additions and other related components. Services may also include construction management and process management or construction administration and inspection services, such as estimation, bid document preparation, QA/QC services, shop drawing review and post design services.
