Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Pearl Creek Elementary School Access Imp and Plug-ins (CMAQ) project proposes is to repave and reconfigure the existing parking lots and add an additional driveway into Pearl Creek Elementary to mitigate congestion during student pick up and drop off times. The project will also provide electrical plug-ins for preheating motor vehicle engines during cold temperatures. The plug-ins will reduce vehicle idling times and ease engine starts. New traffic circulation patterns will also mitigate congestion. The decrease in congestion and installation of electrical plug-ins will decrease emissions, vehicles fuel consumption, and engine wear. Project work includes: • New driveway • New Plug-ins • Resurface roadways • Repair or replace curb and sidewalks • Replace signage and pavement markings • Install crosswalk
